I was charged with a serious aggravated felony trying to defend my niece from her boyfriend who was beating her. I was innocent. Nobody was willing to hear my side of the story. I was only trying to protect my family. Brett Podolsky took the case and saved my life. I was looking at up to 20 years in prison for only doing was I thought was the right thing. He fought my case for almost a year. He gathered evidence and worked so hard defending me. I was very suspicious of the system and lawyers and Brett showed me how the system should work if your lawyer is willing to fight for you and work hard. I am so grateful of his hard work and willingness to hear me and not just plea me out and move on down the road. He did a great job!!!
